Wudang Shihe is a small retreat academy beside Yuzhen Palace at the foot of Wudang that sells all-inclusive tai chi, qigong and kung fu stays from 7 days to a year. It says classes are taught in English with bilingual teachers, and it publishes group dates for 16 November and 7 December 2026. Stays include a private or twin room, three meals and pickup. It is a commercial academy rather than a temple, and prices differ between its own site and booking platforms, so confirm the quote in writing.

Joining from overseas

Overseas participants addressed. Own FAQ: 'Everyone is welcome — from complete beginners to experienced martial artists, of any age or fitness level.' Long programmes (6-month, one-year) require an application; the one-year programme also an interview.

  • A commercial academy beside Yuzhen Palace, not a temple programme; lineage claims are self-presented.
  • Booking platforms name the organiser as Hubei Wudangshan TaiChi Cultural Co., Ltd. (湖北武当山太极文化有限公司); its Chinese account uses the name 武当师和武术馆.
  • The 6-month and one-year programmes need an application; the one-year programme also an interview.
